Coded Text Messages
(canned alpha phrases)

Apollo pagers use a unique coding system that allows callers to send a variety of pre-determined text messages. A 2-digit numeric code preceded by an asterisk (*) activates this feature. The code corresponds to phrases that are built-in to the pager. Phrases can be combined on a single page to create complete sentences. Following is a list of the codes and corresponding phrases.
